Who can stay at the HOTEL NOËL?
HOTEL NOËL is open to all guests who book a night in one of the 10 available rooms at one of the 10 participating hotels.

What is included in the price?
The price includes one night in a double room for 1 to 2 persons including breakfast* and the Zürich Card. Not included are any additional hotel services (e.g. wellness) as well as the City Tax of CHF 2.50 per person, which will be charged separately.
*Exceptions:
– The Pop Up Hotel Krone does not offer breakfast
– At the Guesthouse Kalkbreite, guests receive a 15% discount voucher that can be redeemed at the Café Bebek (valid until 4 pm)
How do I obtain the Zürich Card?
The Zürich Card will be waiting for you in your room upon arrival. You can find further information about the Zürich Card here.
I am a Zurich resident/Swiss national and not a tourist. Why do I have to pay the City Tax?
The City Tax is an accommodation tax for the destination Zurich and according to the statutes of the Zurich Hotel Association is charged per person per night, regardless of their place of residence, tax obligation, reason for travel, or any other such criteria. Currently this tax amounts to CHF 2.50 including VAT.
How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made via noelzurich.com, at the Tourist Information at Zurich Main Station, by telephone on +41 44 215 40 00, or by e-mail to info@zuerich.com.
Can I also book a room for more than one night?
Yes, the respective rooms at the participating hotels may be booked for any length of time during the booking period mentioned above.
Can I book one of the HOTEL NOËL rooms on a different date outside the booking period?
HOTEL NOËL is limited to the period from November 25 to December 26, 2022. However, you can of course stay at another hotel in Zurich at any time: zuerich.com/hotel
Can I make reservations at several hotels?
Yes, the HOTEL NOËL rooms can be booked multiple times per person and in different hotels for the period from November 25 to December 26, 2022.
From what time can I check into the hotel? And by when at the latest do I have to check out?

I would like to change/cancel my reservation. Is this possible?
A reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the arrival date. Any changes after this date are only possible depending on availability.
Can I also book a double room for children?
The offer is valid for one to two persons (e.g. one adult and one child or two adults). It is not possible for two children to share a room on their own. There is no price reduction for children.
When can the room be booked with single occupancy?
If the room is booked by an adult, or an adult with a child under 12 years old, the price for single occupancy applies. When staying together with a child aged 12 years and over, the price for double occupancy applies.
Is it also possible to book rooms for single travelers or families?
The rates apply exclusively to double rooms for a maximum of 2 persons. Single occupancy is possible in some of the rooms. If you require an extra bed or a baby’s cot, please contact the hotel direct.
Can I bring my pet with me?
No, pets are not allowed.
Questions about the Vernissage
What does the vernissage on November 24, 2022 entail?
The vernissage offers visitors the opportunity to view the 10 individually designed rooms in the 10 hotels. Between 6 pm and 9 pm, the artists will be available at the respective hotels to answer questions and will also show them around the room they have designed.
Can the 10 rooms also be viewed at another time?
No, the 10 individually designed rooms can only be viewed in the course of the vernissage on November 24, 2022 between 6 pm and 9 pm.
Questions About Coronavirus
What happens if I have to go into quarantine or cannot use my booking due to Covid-19?
These offers can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the arrival date by calling Tel. +41 44 215 40 00. For later cancelations, amendments, or no-shows, the full amount will be charged.
What happens if I am infected with the coronavirus but am allowed to travel according to the prevailing protection measures? Do I get a refund even if the 48 hours prior to arrival have already passed?

Questions About Booking
How and when do I pay for my booking?
Credit card details are required as a guarantee for your reservation. The actual amount payable for the room plus the City Tax will be debited from your account when you are at the hotel.
Does the rate apply to one or two persons?
The given rate is per double room for a maximum of 2 persons, but can vary if the room is occupied by a single person.
Why can’t I book the desired hotel (any more)?
The HOTEL NOËL comprises 10 rooms. If the room is booked on the desired date, it no longer appears on the booking screen. These 10 Zurich hotels are part of HOTEL NOËL.

How can I apply the discount code, how much discount do I get, and what are the terms and conditions?
With the discount code, you get a 2-for-1 city tour*:
– The code is valid for tours between November 24 and December 26, 2022.
– The discount is valid for 2 persons. If you are traveling as a party of four, please make two separate bookings in order to take advantage of the discount.
– If you are traveling alone, please contact the Tourist Information directly to obtain the discount.
*This offer is valid once per booking during the period from November 24 to December 26, 2022 and cannot be combined with other offers. The offer only applies to adult prices.
If you book for more than two people, the amount of CHF 25 will be deducted once.
Is the discount code transferable?
No, the discount code is only valid for HOTEL NOËL guests and on the presentation of the hotel booking confirmation.
